Balam Toronto is a great taco spot. Also good empanada, friendly service and good prices.

Balam Toronto makes some of the best tacos we’ve had so far in Toronto. And their empanadas are pretty darn good as well.
We have two favourite taco choices: the Suadero (simmered beef); and, their outrageously delicious Birria with consommé. Our favourite empanada (so far) is the Chicken Verde – though the Chicken Rojo is a very close second.
They have a selection of soft drinks, including the delicious Mexican brand Jaritos (one of our favourites).
Service here is friendly and kind, and the small space (including a small patio in front) and the vibe is always chill.
Highly recommended for your next taco craving!
