The Blue Roof Bistro is a charming little spot with a pretty solarium. We dropped in for a quick lunch and found the service to be fast and friendly. It was a touch too loud for us inside so we opted for one of two picnic tables outside. The picnic tables are essentially in the driveway to the parking lot, but it was much quieter.
"Union" Chez Burger
Really enjoyed the bacon cheese burger, the fried leeks made this special. The patty was nice, and well cooked on a good quality bun.
Salmon Chowder
This was just outstanding! Lovely creamy texture with big chunks of delicious salmon.
Fries
The fries were really good. They come dusted in a sweet bbq sauce seasoning that tastes similar to what you find on potato chips. The fries are so naturally tasty we'd probably ask them to hold back on the seasoning.
